This is kinda ghost music, because Rhodesia doesnt exist anymore on the map. The re-release of this has that part of the title rubbed out in favour of the Zimbabwe categorization. Dumisani Maraire comes through playing some originals and traditional compositions.
this is definitely in the "Oh what are we listening to right now?" sort of pile. always a jam, never a jelly. it's a record of some folk music on another level.....

Mbira later got harvested into Chimurenga, an electrified and revolutionified version of the genre if you feelin pretty groovy with this one.
