connie converse made home recordings in the 50s, stopped playing music, then disappeared in the 70s. her music was made public only recently. she is the songwriter with a guitar shtick done properly. songs have transcendent ideas, feminist ideas, love ideas. 6th chords n a most pure voice. how chill how lovely. you can hear her talking to her friends before and after some songs, for example i have considered the lilies, which is clearly one of the best songs ever written.
