it's goin down, no basement. heard about this one from paul weller on his 'what's in my bag' episode. it's ethiopian and eritrean pop music from the 60s and 70s. lots of sax and guitar. huge grooves. melodies great reminiscent of middle eastern ¿ indian ¿ vocal melismatic insanity. summer? yeah. remember that song from ghost world? kinda like that.
