"and if the world is too small for thee/ah, then for me alone shalt thou/be more than world and heaven"... here i have collected the arias from bach's st matthew passion. they're cool for a lot of reasons and in a lot of ways. i recommend looking at the lyrics (which i've included) while you listen because they will help you appreciate what is being conveyed. the words of the arias are by picander. they are interspersed through the biblical texts of the rest of the passion.

this is pretty chill bach, much less abstract than he often is. good ""songs"" with each having an instrument or two that are on equal footing with the vocal part.
